A. Numerous things, as we would technically be employing you, you would have an outside body supporting you should you experience any troubles in your placement. Our consultants have agreements with the Local Authorities and therefore many jobs come directly to us. We pay our teachers an above average pay rate and there is 24/7 support from our dedicated team. You will also have access to our exclusive events and training sessions.
Q. Can I teach in the UK even though I am qualified overseas?
A. Wherever you have trained, it's all about the person and finding them the right school. Your qualifications would need to be portable under Naric to match our qualifications in the UK.
Q. What if a school wants me to work for them on a permanent contract?
A. As your agent, we would broker the best salary for the role and ensure that there are market comparables to support the offer.
Q. Do I need to get another CRB check with you if I already have one? If I do, do I need to pay for it?
A. We employ a best safe practice policy for all our teachers. As we are dealing with children we do require a CRB to be done through us as well. However, if you have a current CRB dated within a year you can still go to work on that until we get our own one back. The cost is set by CRB and you can pay by cheque. Registering and holding a CRB through us will mean you can transfer it to anyone of our sister agencies that belong to Synarbor PLC, providing real flexibility and choice for our candidates.
