The Teach In mission is to play a part in the improvement of our education system by way of furthering the careers of teachers and teaching assistants through training, development and recruitment and improving school staffing through individual and creative recruitment solutions.
Our aim is for Teach In to be seen as a creative education recruitment company. We treat each client school and each teacher or teaching assistant as truly individual. We want to be a recruitment company with a difference. That’s why we help you further your career rather than finding you a job. We provide schools with an ongoing recruitment solution rather than simply filling a vacancy.
The current Teach In team have been operating under this brand since early 2016. Although this brand is fairly new to the market, across the team we have a wealth of experience. We have many years in teacher and education recruitment. Hence, despite our short existence, we have already made a significant impact for permanent placements for September 2016. Our team have found the perfect job for in excess of 200 NQTs, experienced teachers and teaching assistants. Teach In’s Australian and Canadian teams have been operating under the Supply Desk and Synarbor Education brands since 2002. They have recently rebranded to Teach In in order to streamline our international divisions.
At Teach In we run regular advice and information sessions for teachers. These events are run in conjunction with teachers we have placed and headteachers and schools with whom we have relationships. This gives us an excellent opportunity to meet our candidates in an informal setting. Hence we get a thorough understanding of their requirements and how we might be able to help them. We also run regular events introducing NQTs and experienced teachers looking for a new permanent position to large numbers of headteachers who are looking to recruit. These recruitment events have been part of the key to making successful placements – in one day a teacher can meet upwards of 10 schools. This therefore enables them to make an informed decision about their next role, hone their interview skills and be well on their way to securing a perfect job!
We are committed to attracting talented graduates into the teaching profession by working in conjunction with schools to train their own teachers. We take great satisfaction from offering graduates teaching assistant roles in the knowledge that in several years we might be placing them into their first position as a fully qualified teacher.
