Maths Teacher Trainee

Are you a Maths graduate with a passion for language and a desire to share your knowledge?

Would you be interested in embarking on a salaried, fully funded programme as a Maths Teacher Trainee?

The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is a year-long, school-based route into teacher training that allows you to gain practical experience whilst learning on the job. As a Maths Teacher Trainee, you will be assisting and working alongside experienced teachers who will support and advise you in your training, as well as a mentor who will help guide you through the process.

You will be able to put your learning into practice on a daily basis in your role as a Maths Teacher Trainee – building up your confidence and responsibility so that you can progress from teaching assistant to independent teacher at a pace that suits you. In addition to this, you will receive a salary and not have to pay course fees, so you can concentrate on your training and your students.

  • The ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable.
