Salaried Teacher Training
Teach in Qualified (TiQ)- Salaried Initial-Teacher Training- Admissions open for September 2018- London and Surrounding areas
A number of schools based in London and the surrounding areas are looking for promising graduates to work and train in their schools through various routes, developing the role of Teaching Assistant through to Qualified Teacher Status, for September 2018 start dates.
Our own Teach In Qualified takes aspiring teachers from Teaching Assistants to Qualified Teachers over a 6 phase all-inclusive course. Our no-fee salaried programme introduces trainees to the classroom as Teaching Assistants, taking on further responsibilities as they pass each phase. the TiQ programme has flexible start dates, and all training days take place outside of term time, enabling TiQ trainees to make the most of their experience.
All TiQ Trainees have an in-school mentor and an external tutor from enrolling as a Teaching Assistant up until they gain Qualified Teacher Status after completing their 6th phase. All training fees are covered by the school, and the gradual approach gives TiQ trainees time to learn the school curriculum and culture before taking on further responsibility.
Your placement school will cover all training costs and pay you a salary while you train.
Alternatively, many schools offer apprenticeship funded and School Direct training, subject to eligibility, for September 2018 start.
We are looking for committed individuals, preferably with Teaching Assistant or education experience, who have a strong academic background and are interested in a long-term teaching career.
