Trainee R.E. Teacher
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme are looking for a Trainee R.E. Teacher based in and around Enfield to embark on our teacher training programme. This practical based alternative to the PGCE allows you to work in a classroom whilst gaining Qualified Teacher Status and valuable experience.
A Trainee R.E. Teacher will work almost exclusively in a school of your choosing, aided by the support and encouragement of experienced teachers within the school and expert guidance by our highly regarded training provider. You will progress at a pace that suits you, increasing your responsibility and confidence as you learn and develop as a teacher. In one year, you will not only achieve QTS but also be part of the school community from the beginning.
In addition to your training, Trainee R.E. teacher will receive a salary that’s paid in line with an unqualified teacher and there will be no course fees, meaning you can focus on your own learning and get the most out of your training. Another benefit of the Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is its flexibility – with start dates at various points of the academic year, you don’t have to wait until next September to begin.
Entry Requirements for a Trainee R.E. Teacher:

- The ability to inspire and motivate.
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable.
- A 2.2 degree or above in a relevant discipline.
- Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Religious Studies, Maths and English.
