Have you always wanted to become a teacher but didn’t know which option was most suited to you?
Are you a university graduate with a keen interest to explore your subject further and become a Trainee Teacher?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is a salaried, fee free teacher training course that provides you with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in one year. This school-based programme will see you working as a Trainee Teacher in a classroom from the beginning, teaching alongside qualified mentors who will guide and advise you during your training.
As a Trainee Teacher, you will gain valuable experience whilst gaining your qualification in an exciting, supportive environment where no two days are the same. Unlike most other routes into teaching, will also receive a salary on this programme that is paid in line with an unqualified teacher. Along with this there are no course fees to worry about so you can concentrate on your training.
Entry Requirements for a Trainee Teacher:
- The ability to inspire and motivate
- 2:2 degree or higher in a relevant subject
- C grade or higher in GCSE Maths and English
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
With programmes starting at various points in the New Year, we are currently looking for people to start on our April intake so apply now to become a Trainee Teacher and begin inspiring young minds.
