John Carr – Commercial Director for The Education Placement Group
With 19 years experience, John has a broad and varied background within the Education sector in Ireland and the UK. A Mater Dei graduate, John worked as a secondary school teacher in both countries and was one of the youngest headteachers’ ever appointed in Ireland. He has also worked as a Diocesan Adviser and has served in several Irish Universities within teacher training programmes. John moved into Education Recruitment 6 years ago and has served as a company Director for just over half of this time. John oversees the Teach In Ireland, the Irish division of Teach In, and is committed in the quest to provide full- time, permanent and progression career opportunities for Irish teachers and graduates.
When John is not working, he loves to spend time spoiling his French bulldog- Tashe- as well as keeping fit and, currently, learning how to swim! John can be contacted directly via email: email@example.com
Stuart Adnett – TIQ Programme Adviser, Teach In
Stuart joined Teach In to set up the TiQ Programme in 2016 and has thoroughly enjoyed helping so many people to start their journey to Qualified Teacher Status.Prior to TiQ, Stuart worked in education recruitment and is from a family of teachers, so is very familiar with the education sector. This industry knowledge is paramount to helping Stuart to offer useful advice and find suitable schools to match up with the people he meets.

Jack Davis – TIQ Programme Adviser, Teach In
After teaching overseas and working in London secondary schools, Jack joined Teach in as a TiQ Programme Advisor in 2017. Jack was drawn to the role after working with a number of trainee teachers who he felt could have benefitted from the TIQ programme’s gradual approach to achieving QTS, and from his experience is knowledgeable in the area of working and training in education. Jack enjoys watching the TiQ trainees progress and develop within their placement schools as they complete each phase of the TiQ programme.
