Paid Teacher Training
Looking for a new challenge, and want to see what London is all about?
Are you a graduate who is looking to move to London to start their career in education?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is working with schools across London to place aspiring teachers such as yourself onto our Paid Teacher Training course, and we want to find out more about you so we can find the perfect school for you. Our partner schools will be looking to retain trainees for long term roles, so this is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking to relocate to London in the long term.
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is a 1 year long Paid Teacher Training that will see you combine practical classroom experience with theoretical learning as you work towards your Qualified Teacher Status. On this Paid Teacher Training course, you will be supported by experienced teachers and a professional tutor as you train, meaning you will be able to develop your teaching competencies under their guidance at your own pace. You will undertake a mix of practical and assessment based training throughout the year, with a final end point assessment delivered at the end of the programme.
The course is completely fee free for you, and with multiple intakes throughout the year, you could be starting your training from as soon as April! With this Paid Teacher Training course you will also be earning a competitive salary on the unqualified teachers’ pay scale. You will also be eligible for a travel card that gets you 30% off on ALL TFL travelcards, which will make moving to London all that much easier!
So apply today! Successful applicants will be asked to complete a short formal application. If you have not received a response within 2 weeks of applying you have unfortunately been unsuccessful with your initial application.
