Salaried Teacher Training
Are you interested in applying to become a teacher but don’t know where to start?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme are looking for applicants to begin our Salaried Teacher Training programme in September. If you are based in South West London and looking for an opportunity for the next school year, consider Salaried Teacher Training as your route into teaching.
Salaried Teacher Training will see you in a school environment from the very beginning, working alongside qualified teachers, supplementing their work with students and accelerating pupils’ progress. You will build up your responsibility and confidence throughout this year-long programme, from team teaching to taking your own classes as you gain Qualified Teacher Status.
With the support of in-school mentors, a personal tutor and training days throughout the programme, you will be guided along your progress as a trainee teacher. In addition to this, Salaried Teacher Training is fee-free and you will also receive a salary that is paid in line with an unqualified teacher, meaning you can focus on your training and your students.
Entry Requirements for Salaried Teacher Training:
– A 2:2 degree or above in a discipline relevant to your subject
– A GCSE Grade C or higher in English and Maths
– You have lived in the UK or EU for three consecutive years before applying.
– Experience working in a school or as a tutor is desired, but not essential.
If you have a passion for teaching and the drive to begin your career in education, apply today to become a trainee teacher. We accept applications for Salaried Teacher Training year-round and are currently looking for applicants for September, so don’t miss out on your chance for a place on the Teaching Apprenticeship Programme.
