As the new academic year approaches, we are working with the Headteacher of a local Sutton school to appoint a new Science Teacher for September 2020.
- £28,355 – £44,541 (MPS/UPS Outer London weighting)
- Science Teacher (all specialisms considered)
- Permanent role
- KS3-4 secondary school
- London Borough of Sutton
- Comprehensive CPD to support career progression
The ideal Science Teacher will be able to teach Chemistry, Physics and Biology up to KS4 as they will be required to take on a full timetable with classes across all three. As the school do not have a 6th form, a specialism is not essential in this instance. Being able to promote STEM is a real must; the school pride themselves on raising attainment through a well-rounded curriculum that combines all subjects in the school and encouraging students to gain a wealth of skills to prepare them for the 21st century.
In return for being a Science Teacher who can generate enthusiasm and a genuine love of learning, the appointed Science Teacher is able to offer CPD training tailored to support in career development. For an individual who has recently completed their teacher training, you will be enrolled onto the NQT induction programme and assigned an experienced mentor to support you in the first steps of your career.
Located in the London Borough of Sutton, there are good transport links to the school meaning the appointed Science Teacher will be able to commute easily to work.
To be considered for this Science Teacher post, please apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out on a great opportunity. Suitable applicants for this role will be contacted within 48 hours.
