Are you looking for an exciting, opportunity to launch your career in education?
If you are a graduate hoping to pursue a career in teaching, have you considered a school-based route that not only provides Qualified Teacher Status in just one year but also a salary that is paid in line with an unqualified teacher?
Teaching Apprenticeships are practical teacher training programmes with a focus on experience-driven training in a supportive environment. You will be working alongside qualified teachers to deliver classes and accelerate pupil progress. Teaching Apprenticeships also benefit from external training days that provide theoretical foundation to implement in the classroom – a combination of quality training and on-the-job learning that fosters both personal and professional growth.
With Teaching Apprenticeships, experience working in a school environment is preferred but not required – we are mainly looking for those with an eagerness to learn and an aptitude for encouraging development. You will be teaching your own classes towards the end of your training, however throughout the programme you will receive guidance from your personal tutor, in-house mentors and qualified teachers within the school, giving you the opportunity to work at a pace that suits you.
Entry Requirements for Teaching Apprenticeships:
– A 2:2 degree or above in relevant discipline.
– GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths (also in Science for primary teaching).
– The desire to and motivate and inspire.
– Residence in the UK or EU for the past three years.
Don’t worry about being limited to strict deadlines and timelines – one of the many benefits of Teaching Apprenticeships is that they can begin at any point in the academic year so apply today to take the first steps towards your teaching career and begin inspiring young minds.
