Trainee Science Teacher
Are you a Science graduate with a passion for your subject?
Have you considered pursuing a career in teaching where you can share your knowledge and inspire the next generation?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme (TAP) is a practical programme based almost exclusively in a school where you can gain valuable, hands-on experience whilst achieving QTS in just one year. This programme will see you working in an exciting and supportive environment where two days are never the same. We are currently looking for Trainee Science teachers in the Enfield area to begin TAP in January 2019.
As a Trainee Science Teacher, you will be working with qualified, encouraging teachers and mentors who will guide you along the process and assist you in your training. You will be given the chance to put this training into practice as you build up your experience and confidence as a teacher at a pace that suits you.
In addition to this high quality training, the role of Trainee Science Teacher is also salaried in line with an unqualified teacher and there are no course fees involved, meaning that you can focus and commit to your training.
Entry Requirements for a Trainee Science Teacher:
- A commitment to make a difference.
- The ability to inspire and motivate.
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable.
- A 2.2 degree or above in a relevant discipline
- Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Science, Maths and English
If you are keen to begin your teacher training as soon as you can and don’t want to wait until next September, then take the first step towards your teaching career and apply today to become a Trainee Science Teacher.
