Would you like to find a route into teaching that allows you to gain hands-on experience in a school without costly course fees?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme are looking for a Trainee Teacher for a school in South East London to embark on this practical, school based route into teaching. This is a fee free and paid position that will lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just one year.
As a Trainee Teacher, you will be working alongside qualified and experienced teachers who will guide and support you in your training, building up your confidence in roles that range from support roles to team teaching and eventually taking your own classes towards the final term, all at a pace that suits you.
Your role as a Trainee Teacher will see you being involved in the school community from day one – allowing you to familiarise yourself with the environment whilst attending training days and personal development. On top of this, you will be paid in line with an unqualified teacher throughout your training and will not have to worry about the course fees generally associated with teacher training.
