Graduate TA job in Middlesbrough
Thinking of a career in Teaching?
Are you a Maths, English or Science Graduate?
Want to earn money whilst building up further experience?
We can find you Teaching Assistant positions after you graduate!
Teaching truly is one of the most rewarding careers a person can have – giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of generations of young people. It’s not always easy. It’s not all half term holidays and early finishes. But those of us who were born to teach know there’s nothing greater than providing that ‘Aha’ moment for a child, no more meaningful gift that the first piece of work that rebellious teenager strived to produce for you, no greater buzz than a classroom full of engaged, animated children keen to share their ideas and learn from each other.
With increasing numbers of schools offering School Centred Initial Teacher Training, more and more university graduates are starting their education career as Teaching Assistants. They spend a year deciding whether teaching is the right career for them – and are even sometimes offered on-the-job teacher training at their employer school. The highly valued classroom experience they gain during this time places them far above other SCITT and PGCE applicants, and they tend to find the training experience easier than their colleagues who are new to this side of the classroom.
We are holding a Graduate Open Day for passionate prospective Trainees to come along and register (Free Refreshments!) So if Teaching is the career for you send over your CV to north.east@teachin.co.uk!
Teaching is a fantastic and popular career choice, hence we get large volumes of applicants so please ensure you show your passion for embarking on a teaching career and any valuable experience to be considered!
At Teach In we place Graduates from all disciplines into Teaching Assistant positions, then follow and support them through their education career.
