As a Teaching Assistant at this school in Croydon, you will be expected to work on a 1-on-1 basis with pupils and start running intervention groups once you have had adequate training and experience as a 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant. Studies show that this is the most effective use of a Teaching Assistant, actually improving progress by 2-4 months across a year.
Teaching Assistant application criteria:
- 2:1 or 1st Class Hons Degree
- Experience of working with children – ideally as a Teaching Assistant
- Available to start working in Croydon in the coming weeks
